Over the years, the Obernai Benfeld International Triathlon has become an event attracting more and more participants and audiences. To adapt to this evolution, we offer you new services, in order to make our events more user-friendly and to facilitate follow-up.
Saturday evening, at the end of the awards ceremonies organized at 19h, a meal with animation will be offered on the border of the Benfeld’s lake. Registration required via the LeSportif.com website, independent of registration for a triathlon.
On Sunday, Obernai – Benfeld – Obernai bus shuttles will be offered at € 2, upon prior registration via LeSPortif.com. These shuttles concern the spectators who will be able to move in Benfeld, to see the swimming part, and to return to Obernai before the return of the triathletes. You will avoid car parking problems in Benfeld, enjoy a drop off near the site and make a gesture for the planet. Of course, triathletes are invited to ride Obernai Benfeld, 16 km flat, by bike with their swimming gear.
To facilitate the live follow-up of the events, a giant screen installed in Obernai will broadcast the images of the Benfeld swimming trip, the Mont National run and the finish with the display of the finishers’ names. With a live broadcast on Facebook of the key moments of the triathlons, the spectators of Obernai should not miss anything of the progress of the tests.
As was the case last year, the opening race cars and bikes and the men’s and women’s favorites of the L and M triathlons will be equipped with a GPS beacon enabling them to follow their progress live. But in addition, your Fan Club will be able to follow, on site, in deck chair, in front of the TV, etc …? your progress if you have subscribed to the GPS tracking option when you register.
To make our sites of Benfeld and Obernai live and relay all this information, our team of speakers is reinforced. Louis and Hervé, our usual animators, will be accompanied by Chun, who has dynamited the atmosphere on the triathlons of Gerardmer 2019.
