RECO

The reconnaissance of the courses is not the race before the hour. It is above all a question of understanding the management of the courses in a non-competitive spirit and in compliance with the safety instructions. Swimming is not concerned by this recognition. Only the cycling and running routes will be carried out. Recognition of the L run is limited to 1 loop (9.6 km).

Each participant will have previously registered online. An identification number will be assigned to it and it will be marked on the forearm.

Security instructions :

Wearing a mandatory helmet on the bike
Respect of a safety distance between each bike
Respect of the traffic rules
Bike in good condition with self-repair if necessary
Each competitor will be marked with his bib number to allow him to be identify. The same number will be indicated on the bike with a label provided by the organization (luggage type).

When you arrive, please mark the list of registered runners and mark the bib number on your wrist.

Food supplies :

Each participant ensures thar he or she has personal refreshments allowing him or her to be autonomous during the bike part.
Refreshments will be furnished by the organizer at the bike/running transition and at the finish of the run.

Coaching :

The reconnaissance is done in groups supervised by experienced triathletes.

A departure briefing will explain the course of the reconnaissance and the rules to be respected.

Breakpoints are planned to provide advice and corrections for the rest of the reconnaissance.

A participant who would like to do the reconnaissance individually and outside of supervision, reports himself to the organizing team.

A non-guarded bike park is planned in Obernai or Benfeld during the run.

Practical organization:

• People who leave their cars in Benfeld should remember to take their running gear in a small backpack by bike
• People who leave their car in Obernai can leave their running gear in the organization’s van in a small bag

Timetable :

XS Format: Meeting point at Benfeld lake at 2:45 p.m.
L Format: Meeting point at Benfeld lake at 1:30 p.m. 
S & M Formats: Meeting point at Benfeld lake at 3:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. at Obernai, parking des Remparts, under the hall for a group departure by bike to Benfeld.
